Educational Tutoring Services
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor all educational programs.
Plan and attend education events, seminars, and workshops.
Prepare and maintain records and documents for education plans.
Implement and maintain all administrative processes.
Provide training to staff members.
Observe and maintain record of children’s progress. Perform regular administration tests and
assessments to ensure compliance to all performance standards and policies.
Determine and prepare tools and equipment for various training plans.
Supervise effective implementation of activities for parents.
Develop annual budgets for organization and ensure compliance.
Develop specifications for educational services ensuring compliance with federal and state
regulations.
Perform various grant research and coordinate with various schools to maintain effective
communication within the community.
Ensure incorporation of special students into the program.
Assist in all admission processes and monitor outreach strategies.
Monitor and respond to student information requests.
Evaluate applications for candidates and assist in orientation programs.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in education, education administration or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Coordinator will receive on-the-job training as needed.
Skills Needed: Strong Communication skills. The education coordinator will be responsible for
communicating with parents, students, and staff. The coordinator will also help resolve conflicts and
answer questions.
Organization Skills: Prioritizing many responsibilities and managing time effectively are critical skills
when providing students with the best possible learning experience.
Leadership Skills: These are essential for planning and leading staff trainings, developing lesson plans,
delegating, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program.
Teaching Skills: As an educator, the coordinator will use teaching skills to educate others about topics
related to our goals and mission.

English Tutor
Educational Tutoring Services
Duties and Responsibilities
An English Tutor is responsible for providing students with individualized assistance to help
them learn new concepts and complete assignments. Their duties include studying lesson plans
and reviewing textbooks to prepare for a lesson, assigning additional projects and answering a
student’s questions about a topic.

Establish a rapport with students by being friendly, approachable, and supportive

Provide feedback on students’ progress and recommend areas for improvement

Plan lessons that are interesting and relevant to their individual needs and goals

Review students’ homework and provide feedback

Help students with reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary development
-
Provide one-on-one attention when needed for specific needs
-
Explain difficult concepts and provide examples for students that are easy to understand
-
Maintain attendance records and communicate with parents about their child’s progress
Experience and Skills

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience: On the job training available although previous demonstrated excellence in English
tutoring preferred

Skills: Creativity and flexibility in order to personalize learning

Patience and compassion for students as they develop skills and improve their performance

Knowledge of the subject matter and strong interpersonal communication skills to explain
concepts clearly and provide feedback
